(Feb 17, 2026) This study compares sound quality and user preference between Auracast and traditional teleloop (hearing loop) systems in a realistic environment. Participants with and without hearing loss listened to audio samples via both systems without knowing which type they were listening to.
36 individuals participated in the study: 18 with mild-to-moderate sensorineural hearing loss and 18 with normal hearing.
