2024

  • Colorado Springs Airport. Did you know that our newly renovated gates have a hearing loop system installed? 
    🦻 The hearing loop system is integrated into the Airport’s PA system, creating a more inclusive auditory environment for individuals with assistive listening devices. 5/15/24 Facebook
  • Colorado Springs Airport. “Another area we are focused on is accessibility,” says Phillips. Within the concourse, improvements focused explicitly on accessibility will include a hearing loop system in all the hold rooms and getting rid of carpet in the passenger movement areas to improve the ability of wheelchairs to move around, among other changes. “Colorado Springs is uniquely positioned to serve a large population of people with physical disabilities due to being a military community and because of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center and the new Museum.   • Colorado State Capitol. “New and Improved Senate Chamber Ready for Prime Time”
    A “hearing loop” system now exists within the floor structure in the Senate Chamber, and this loop will provide an improved listening experience for all users with a T-Coil feature on their hearing aid.1/5/23 Colorado LegiSource.

Take the map we’ve built for the University of Colorado at Boulder as an example.   • Assist 2 Hear loops together a hearing community.” Locally, Grace Presbyterian Church in Highlands Ranch has just joined St. Andrew’s Methodist and Littleton’s United Methodist Church as larger-scale venues that have been looped. “We’re progressing with installations here in Colorado,” Hansen said. “The City of Fort Collins actually issued a proclamation that all of their public buildings, any new constructions and renovations have to be looped and they are retro-fitting all their public existing buildings as they can.” 4/27/12.
